Delivery Policy
Online TEFL Courses
All online courses, content, material, tasks and certificates, are delivered online through the TEFL Express virtual campus. Upon registration, students have 12 months to activate their virtual campus account and begin their teacher training. All online courses are valid for 90 days from date of activation.If you need more time or want to take a slower pace during your course, you can purchase a study extension in the secretary section of the virtual campus. All your work will be saved even if the course expires. Extension options range from 2 weeks to 1 year.
Classroom TEFL Courses
Classroom courses are delivered at our language school locations. All material and course content will be supplied on the first day of the course. Certificates are normally supplied upon successful completion of the course, where we cannot provide a certificate at the end of the course we will post it to the student within 10 working days.
Downloadable Resources
Downloadable teaching resources purchased from TEFL Cambridge are non-refundable. TEFL Cambridge teacher resources and their content is instantly available to download after purchase, due to this reason they are not eligible for refund and are outside the 14 day refund policy.
RE-SIT POLICY
Online TEFL Courses
If you fail a unit in your online course you will see a "Re-sit" button instead of the "Check Result" button at the bottom of every task in the failed unit. When you fail a unit, you only need to re-sit tasks within the failed unit until you achieve pass rate.
There is one free re-sit per task and you'll be charged a "re-sit" fee only if and when you re-sit the same task twice. Every course unit must be passed with a score of 55% or more before you will gain your TEFL qualification.
Cancellation & refund policy
Online TEFL Courses
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the online course you have purchased, you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of buying directly on our site only if the certificate is not issued. If you have a certificate, the refund can't be issued, even if it's within the 14 day period. If you are using a voucher issued by a third party please contact the third party for their refund policy. If you do cancel the course, any access to course materials will be removed from your log-in. Any gift vouchers issued will be cancelled.
Any fees paid for study time extensions are non-refundable, regardless of at which point during your course make this purchase.
Classroom TEFL Courses
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the Classroom TEFL Course you have purchased, you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days from the date of purchase of the course, unless this is within 14 days of the start date of the course. In this case no refund is possible. If you are not satisfied with the course during the first day of the weekend classroom course, you must speak to the tutor on the day. If your problem cannot be resolved, you should contact our customer services number on the Monday morning following the course and we endeavour to resolve the issue, either with a full refund or transferring the student to another course:

Cancellation of a classroom TEFL course by TEFL Cambridge
We reserve the right to cancel any classroom based program due to insufficient enrolments or for other reasons we deem valid. In the unlikely event that the course doesn’t reach its minimal enrolments, we reserve the right to transfer participants to a suitable alternative course. If a cancellation occurs, and a suitable alternative date cannot be found, a full refund of any fees or deposit payment will be made within seven days of our giving notice of cancellation. We accept no liability whatsoever for any additional costs you may have incurred prior to notice of cancellation.

Hardcopy Certificate
All TEFL Cambridge courses are independently accredited by ACCREDITAT, accreditation was awarded in May 2014. All course registrations from June 2014 will receive a certificate that has the ACCREDITAT logo included. As well as receiving your TEFL Cambridge certification, successful course graduates will be eligible to obtain a second certificate from ACCREDITAT if desired.
When ordering your hard copy certificate from TEFL Cambridge you will have the choice of standard post, recorded or airmail delivery. You'll be asked to confirm your postal address for your certificate during this process. If you choose to pay via PayPal ensure that the shipping address saved within your account matches where you'd like to have your hard copy certificate mailed to.
Note: If you supply an incorrect shipping address you will be charged for a replacement certificate. You will also be asked to confirm your name as you would like it to appear on your certificate. Take time to make sure you confirm the correct spelling and presentation of your name as TEFL Cambridge is not responsible for any errors that occur. If you require a second copy of your certificate due to an error in your name, you will be charged for the replacement.
